How we work

Good software doesn't draw attention to itself; it disappears into the way you work. We listen first, simplify second and write last. What comes out doesn't have to be flashy. It has to work, every day.

  1. How it runs today

    We start with how your business runs today: where orders come in, where the records go, where things get stuck. We don't talk software yet.

  2. A written plan

    What we talked about becomes a written plan: what gets built first, what waits, what stays out. Before any code, what you expect and what you get are both on paper.

  3. Something to click

    We draw the screens first and make them clickable. You try them before there is any code: why is this button here, is this step one too many. Changes are easy at this stage, so this is where we make them.

  4. Piece by piece

    We don't build the whole thing and hand it over at the end. The work is cut into pieces, and each finished piece reaches you working. If your mind changes along the way, so does the plan.

  5. In use

    We learn the most after it goes live. Once your team is using it, we look at what works and what gets skipped, and adjust.
